    Sing along:

    Bravi, bravi, bravissimi!

    Where in the world

    Have you been hiding?

    Really – you were perfect

    I only wish

    I knew your secret

    Who is this new

Father once spoke of an angel

I used to dream he'd appear

Now as I sing I can sense him

    And I know he's here

Here in this room he calls me softly

    Somewhere inside, hiding

Somehow I know he's always with me

    He, the unseen genius

Christine, Christine you must have been dreaming

Stories like this can't come true

    Christine, you're talking in riddles

    And it's not like you

Angel of music, guide and guardian

    Grant to me your glory

    Who is this angel?

Angel of music, hide no longer

    Secret and strange angel

    He's with me even now

    Your hands are cold

    All around me

    Your face, Christine, it's white

    It frightens me

    Don't be frightened

The movie was a good attempt at capturing the magic from the live show, but nothing will ever compare to having seen it live and feeling the entire theater shake from the organ playing. It's such a pity that it's no longer on stage, people who never had the experience of seeing it live will never know what they missed out on. 🙁

  3. Monique

    I… I know you?

  4. Ramie Lloyd

We watched this in chorus after we did SATS. I know every word to these songs, and in the movie I sung alone with this. I got the weirdest looks from people, but like I say. Opera isn't a thing you learn, you're born with it. And I was born with the gift of Opera.

  5. Joanna Wu

    chills after chills

  6. purpleheart3000

  8. Delta30

for some reason my school has to sing a phantom of the opera medly
    i was clueless.

  9. EmeraldTeardropsFall

I cry so much at this film, I just can't deal with the fact that she didn't choose the phantom. She condemned him to a live of solitude and suffering. I just can't deal with it. It makes my heart want to explode in pity

  10. Monique

I fell in love with this as soon as I seen the Phantom's and Christine's faces… But CHRISTINE, WHY DIDN'T YOU GO TO THE FREAKING PHANTOM!!!?

  11. METALKILLSemosNpunks

  25. katieo970

    Definitely agreed.

  26. MagicalFairyChick

I think the actual Broadway is better but the movie is really good.

  27. Gladys Murphy

i love this movie so much i have been obsessed with it since i first saw it i cried so hard at the end when he was all alone and she gives him the ring.

  28. Adam Dominick

I swear, if I ever get into a remake of this movie, I'm gonna finish the "Brava, Bravi" chain with "Bravo, Bravo, Bravissimo"

  29. Salty Panda

i first seen the phantom of the opera when i was about 7 and i fell in love with it i most liked the fact its a romantic musical.

  30. Shelby Vostad

Scooping sounds messy! Try to cut your voice off right before you go to a high note from a low and vice versa. I have the same problem and my music instructor gets at me and a saprano constantly for it! Haha don't worry you'll get better with practice 🙂

  31. beebonious

@operagirl121 Scooping tends to comes across as novice-like as it is often a sign that the singer is unable to make larger jumps to higher notes without connecting the two of them. Most vocalists strive towards being able to produce any note, no matter how high or low on the scale, with precision. Scooping eases a vocalist into a note while being able to stick a solid high note is by far more impressive/difficult to do… at least that's my opinion and many voice teachers!

  32. charlotte73

Great movie and Emmy Rossum's voice is wonderful, i could listen all day. 🙂

  33. Silly Willy

In malaysia…14 years old will learn this Novel as the Literature at thier school…and this is the only lesson can i understand

  34. Maddie S

@purpleturbanz Is scooping bad? My music teachers sometimes tells me to stop, but I don't know why. Can you explain?

  35. Alison Lovelock

Brings back memories. I used to think I could sing this LMAO! I can't sing :p

  36. Mercedes_22

I just can't get enough Phantom of the Opera. I sing this song to myself and I don't even know it then I realize I am in front of a bunch of people just singing out loud…yeah lol…but I truly love this song. 🙂
