Classical Feng Shui students learned about the four main types of housing in the days before the guidance. These houses from
Described in a rough stroke. Two of the four support health and relationships, and two do not. Two of the four support financial luck, and the other two do not. But over-emphasizing these four types of housing is like using a cover to judge a book or use its frame to paint a picture.
In the 20th century, these four types of housing were strikingly described, translated from more non-textual Chinese terms, no matter where we have a type of house, now marked as “good for the people” [again Wangshan Wangshui]. The exact opposite type of house is called “reversal,” as opposed to the best house. Then there are two types of mixed houses, one of which is considered to be “good for people/good for the poor [double seat]” and the other is considered “good for people” [Double Facing.]
In fact, we know that life is more complicated, but we all know rich people, but they are unhealthy or wealthy but very happy. We also know people who are physically and mentally strong, caring family members and close friendships, but perhaps long-term economic difficulties.
So it is easy to assume that these four big houses from
Influencing the occupants to create these real differences. When studying Xuan Kong Fei Xing, there were actually 144 different house charts, but the 144 "flight star maps" can be divided into four categories. These categories are determined based on the time the building was built and the orientation or orientation of the building, and therefore are not as obvious as seeing a house with certain physical characteristics.
One of the most frustrating things I often encounter is a potential customer who wants me to help them with house hunting. They have heard of this house that is "good for people/value for money" and they just want to live. In that type of house and nothing else. This is a very near-sighted approach to house hunting because the qualification as a good feng shui is based on many criteria that are not based solely on the direction of the house or the year of construction. In fact, there are many examples of flaws in the layout of the plan, which seriously weaken or transcend the nature of the four categories of so-called best houses.
For example, I have a client whose house is considered to be "Wangshan Wangshui" [suitable for people/rich family types.] At the same time, the actual floor plan shows that the bedroom, entrance and home office are the worst part in this house. To get back to the point, it should be understood that there is no house on the planet with all the inherent positive areas. On average, about four out of a total of eight basic directional regions in any structure are considered better or worse than others. Here's a concrete example: For a house built in 1985 that faces 160-170 degrees south, the best location [in the meteor map] will be in the northwest, north, northeast, and east. Other directions [west, southwest, southeast, and south] are not inherently motivated during the current time of a particular type of housing.
So at this point, we didn't even study the floor plan. We are just guessing the most positive impact of this house, becoming one of the 144 flying stars.
So, considering that this house should be so good, customers have permanent financial problems, marital dilemmas, problems with their children, legal issues, kidney problems for husbands and wives, and serious burglary for their lost valuables totaling $100,000.00. Therefore, I will not call it a house that is "good for the people / good value for money". In contrast, I have a world-renowned client on TV and movies, but he lives in a “reverse” house that is said to be “unfavorable to people and bad for money”. He has a happy family life and has performed quite well in his career for more than 30 years. So how is this possible? Well, away from the fate of feng shui, this person happens to naturally stay in the most active part of his home, not the most negative part. His bedroom and office and the convenient back door entrance fully supported his good fortune. That's why I sometimes begged my clients to provide me with a floor plan when they are hunting. Many people mistakenly believe that all I need is an address to find the built-in year and compass on the Internet. If there is no floor plan to study, about 80% of the information will be lost or based on guesswork.
So now I hope that I have determined that the four major housing types cannot and cannot predict what kind of wealth or misfortunes the occupants may encounter. The basic housing type must work with a unique floor plan and understand the airflow, the impact of the direct external environment, and even the personal compatibility of the occupant's home' birth data and occupation.
The little-known facts about the style of the four major houses are still the facts of many long-term practitioners. The important fact is that these four houses do not maintain their status permanently. Many practitioners think that “it used to be a retrogressive house, always a regressive house.” And they have the same fate for the other three types of housing. But in fact, this is not technically the case. The basis for the establishment of the four major housing types is the standard associated with the construction of the house. Once the house exceeds its own construction period, it will give up its title as one of the four major housing types.
For example, the fifth period is from 1944 to 1963. For houses built during the 20-year period, they are called the fifth house. However, they are no longer their original Wang Shan Wang Shui, reversal, double or double room type. In each 20-year era, there are 16 different housing types based only on directions, and then they are further divided into four main housing types. However, after 1964, those fifth-phase houses were no longer defined by these definitions. In the 8th issue from 2004 to 2023, we built houses within this time frame and these houses were correctly reclassified into one of four house types, but these terms will end at the beginning of the 9th issue in 2024. At that point in time, only 9 houses were eligible to become one of the four main houses. All other periods of the house are tax-free. We have nine periods, each of which lasts for 20 years. This means that most homes are not one of the four main types of homes, even though it sounds like a house of all types.
I am part of a large group of practitioners who were not initially taught all the consequences of these housing classifications. Old habits are very difficult, and it may take a long time to standardize the teaching so that each classic school or individual teacher has a more nuanced and technically correct understanding of the four main types of housing, duration and overall impact. Before that, many people missed buying or renting big houses because they had a vision of a feng shui tunnel. It seems that the so-called “Wangshan Wangshui” house is all looking for all types of houses. It's not like this. It may be like a person who thinks they can only play a role and be happy in a city in the world. We know that this can't be true, but it's just one of the many examples of people relying on too little information to judge attributes.
