Since I started writing for the newspaper, my e-mail has been overwhelmed by the readers of the column and the audience of my TV show. Some people want to know more about Feng Shui. Others are looking for specific answers to Feng Shui questions. However, many people are just looking for some comfort or confirmation about superstition, old wife stories and myths.
So this week, I think, in order to change, I should open my mailbag and share with my readers some of the more common [and interesting] queries I received and the answers to those queries. Some of these questions may be technical and other issues are simple. However, most people share a common feature, that is, most people think or consider the problem of feng shui at some point.
When we moved to a new house last June, I hired a service from Feng Shui Master [a friend of mine]. According to her, our house faces the northeast [the door to the NE] and is a ' earth' house. She told us not to use red, blue, purple and other colors in our house, but to use colors such as beige, white, brown and light yellow. However, in the annual assessment we recently asked her to do for the house, she told us that we could not use green. I have bought green materials for my curtains and sofa sets because she didn't mention the first time not using green. Now she says green, this is a house where the "wood" color will destroy the earth. I still remember that she said that color only affects 10% of feng shui, but when I ask her if she can use green sofas and curtains, she will never say it. I am confused now. I don't want to get rid of the green material I spent a lot of money, but on the other hand, I am worried that it will be a bad feng shui. There are other things she said that seem contradictory, but because she is a friend, it is difficult for us to question her too much. Can't I use green materials is it true? Can you tell me what is the good color and what is the bad color of the house? Can I put only some colors in some years?
In the basic research of feng shui, the building may be an element based on its general shape. For example, a building with a sharp apex is a fire form. Round or designed buildings are metallic elements. In the eight major feng shui, the elements of the house are based on the sitting posture of the house. However, in terms of interior decoration, the elements in your home have no effect on your personal choice.
Your feng shui consultant friend seems to have built her interior design advice in a new era of feng shui rather than classical feng shui. The basic quality of the building also does not determine your interior design choices. From a functional point of view, it just tells us what the building is better for. Just because you have a house in the form of a fire doesn't mean you can't use blue sofas or blue curtains on the oversimplified concept of "water and fire conflict." If you like green curtains and green sofas, keep them. The operation word here is 'like'. Frankly speaking, color has nothing to do with feng shui, and their influence or influence is mainly psychological.
Depending on the element, it seems very illogical and impractical to define your feng shui with color, because it means you have to repaint your house every year and replace all your furniture, because the energy of the elements is constantly changing. Classical Feng Shui does not need any such things [in any case, in the ancient Tang Dynasty, most houses looked the same, the same color!]. No good colors or bad colors, only the colors you like and the colors you don't like!
We recently bought a house. Is there a special date selection for moving in?
Date selection is important if we want to maximize our benefits and enjoy the long-lasting effects of feng shui. For important events like moving, it is highly recommended to choose the right date.
The purpose of choosing a date is to do the right thing at the right time. In this case, the correct time means that we should choose a specific date, where the energy of the day is in series with the Qi mode we are trying to activate, and the positive energy around us is at the optimal time for the action or The activity to start.
Tong Shu or the Chinese calendar has been a popular household item for most Chinese families for the past few hundred years, including some dates suitable for moving into a new house. However, these are for general use only.
Date selection itself is a specialized area of research, and there are many ways to choose the right date, such as East Palace Law, Xuankong Daxu, Qimen, Shensha and Tianxing Law, to name a few. For any event [whether moving or opening a new business], a very good appointment date is a personalized date for the person involved in the event. This is done by matching the date to the relevant person's BaZi [or fate code].
I own a black car but I have encountered 2 accidents in 8 months. I was born in the Year of the Dragon and is now 31 years old. I don't think black is suitable for me. I decided to change the paint color this weekend. Please tell me which color is right for me.
This reminds me of an article sent to me by my recent student in England, telling me how you can feng shui your car, avoid accidents, and thus reduce your insurance money! Unlike a house, your car does not have a fixed orientation or position. You don't sleep or live in your car. Therefore, your car has no feng shui effect on you. So, this is not because you have experienced the "car feng shui" of the accident. Your car color [license plate number] and car type are independent of the number of accidents you have encountered. No matter what color you like, paint your car. As for the accident, your BaZi is more likely to have problems, or your driving is causing problems, not your car!
I want to know if a couple born in the same year are together very well? My boyfriend and I were born in the Year of the Dragon, we are always told that we can't be together! They said that this is "medium" [conflict]. is this real?
In the BaZi study, six Earth branches are in conflict with each other. The conflict between the dragon and the dog – so first answer this question, there is no such thing as a dragon conflict.
The conflicting relationship in the BaZi study has led to some creative explanations, and it has been concluded that individuals should not make appointments or marriages, or joint ventures or partnerships with people whose annual branches conflict with their branches. For example, a person born in the Year of the Pig should not associate or marry a person born in the Year of the Snake. This is not quite right at all!
Compatibility between individuals is not only determined by the year branch – it is done by comparing the entire BaZi [or fate code] of two people. In any case, it is illogical to sever a relationship with someone or to exclude someone from dating or to avoid doing business with someone because they happen to be an animal sign of conflict with ourselves. We must look at the individual's complete BaZi chart in order to arrive at a more accurate conclusion.
Is your exact date and birth time really black magic for you? If this is true, is it dangerous to give up this information?
BaZi consultants or fate analysts are not at the trick or performing black magic. Unfortunately, this fear stems from the past of many feng shui masters who became spiritual masters. Today, most feng shui and eight-character consultants are strict masters of their own field, missing spiritual practices, including ghost destruction activities, which are not first part of classical feng shui or Chinese astrology.
Today, the trend of Feng Shui and Ba Zi consultants has increasingly turned to pure classic Feng Shui and Chinese astrology. Strictly speaking, the focus is on the study of the natural environment [ie the ability of the Earth's energy] and the analysis of fate [human ability]. In addition, most Feng Shui and BaZi consultants today are very professional in their methods with modern expectations, and information such as birth details or house details is usually handled in a highly confidential manner. So it can be said that there is no "danger".
Of course, although it has already been discussed, you may still be one of those who still worry about and give up this information. There is actually a way to solve this problem. Many of you may not know that each Chinese hour is actually two Western hours – such as the Dragon Time [7 am to 9 am] or the cock time [5 pm to 7 pm]. Therefore, if you want to participate in the service of Feng Shui and BaZi consultants, please tell the consultant about your birth time according to Chinese time!
My company plans to buy a new property, but we have 5 directors. If I want to choose the direction based on my personal nickname, which director's nickname should I follow?
This is a common problem for commercial buildings. It is possible for a small company or a sole proprietorship to use a personal director's personal Gua to find a place of business, but this does not apply to large companies or companies that have many directors and are not from the same Gua Group – at.. ….Click here!Feng Shui Secrets That Will Change Your Life.
